Message from the Board of Education

Heather Klahn, President of the WVCS Board of Education, read the following statement at their meeting on Monday, June 23:
 
As we conclude the current school year and prepare for the upcoming year, the West Valley Board of Education thanks Mr. Putnam for his leadership and service this past year. His guidance in supporting the district during this transition period has been appreciated. 
 
The Board is pleased to announce Mr. Daniel Amodeo's appointment as the next Superintendent of the West Valley Central School District. Mr. Amodeo has shown a longstanding commitment to West Valley, dedicating the past decade to advancing our students' academic success and personal growth. We are confident that his leadership will continue to foster excellence within our school community.
 
Mr. Putnam and Mr. Amodeo will collaborate to ensure a smooth transition in leadership.
 
The Board of Education extends its gratitude to the entire West Valley community for your ongoing support. We will continue to move forward with providing opportunities and setting our students up for success in their future goals.
